When you move up to the unit, you are leaving 10th Teddington and joining Shackleton ESU, which is run separately. We work closely with Shackleton and often arrange joint activities and camps.

Despite changing group, you will not be short of familiar faces. Several of our leaders also volunteer at the Explorer meetings, and many of our Scouts join Shackleton once they turn 14.

Explorers take more responsibility running their own programme than Scouts, having much more input in the activities that will occur, camps that take place etc - occasionally even running their own events.
